What is Business Coaching?

Business coaching can be summarised as follows:

  1. Establishing the core ambition of an individual, a team, a company;
  2. Evaluating the existing capabilities to fulfil the ambition, identifying blocks, and additional needs;
  3. Creating a programme to maximise the existing potential and build where necessary; and
  4. Observing the implementation of the programme, and providing on-going feedback support.

The business coach can provide the view of an outsider. They can be very connected to the business and its employees, but retain a detachment of view.

The key to coaching is how to identify the real blocks in the business, and provide the appropriate support that will clear the path to maximise development of the exiting potential within the business.
